After some years my wife wished for some ski touring, so we went above Soriška planina, where landscape views never dissapoint. Be it in summer, autumn, spring or winter 🙂

Out little one was already in day care at grandma and grandpa, so we were able to be at parking spot on Soriška planina before 9 AM, but there were already lots of cars and buses there, but parking was not an issue this time. We were moving in acceptable pace without any issues from other visitors of this ski slope, except (well someone has to be a smart ass!) one remark from “ski- instructor” of ski-course, that ski touring skiers shouldn’t be on the edge of the ski slope. Luckily only my wife heard this comment and proceeded – I probably wouldn’t just proceed… 🙂

It got windy at the saddle, but views outweigh everything!

On top of Slatnik views open to all directions and normally tempo drops, since more photography opportunities are available – and I do take them all 🙂

We saw quite a lot of people in the distance, but we met only 3 up here. 🙂 Some did ski down the slope before us, or continued towards Šavnik, another top nearby, so we couldn’t talk about croud on these hills.

It was pretty windy on the top, so we did descend fast to a point with no wind, so we could enjoy our hot tea to warm up a bit.

We were navigating through pretty thick forrest downwards, which was not enjoyable for B., but we managed to reach clearing for some nice curves on fresh snow before we skied almost to our car.
