Marijino brezno

25.8. smo se z Anžetom in Perotom odpravili – spet – v Marijino brezno, pogledati, kaj sta Anže in Grega (DZRJL) odkrila in izmerila na eni prejšnjih akcij in nismo bili razočarani. Po dolgem času spet eno odkritje v sicer dolgem in razvejanem Marijinem breznu.

Hodimo in hodimo in hodimo… potem pa štrik nekam navzgor, se vzpnemo in že smo v novih zanimivih rovih. Na koncu le teh Anže obljublja kristalčke in ježke – moram priznati, da sem bil malo razočaran ko sem jih zagledal, saj sem po njegovih besedah pričakoval večje ježke ampak so pa lepi, ni kaj, pa še v Marijinem breznu so, kjer jih do sedaj nismo poznali 🙂

Photos are stuck on hard disk for almost two months now… more and more new are getting ready for next posts… well “you can get far even if in slow pace” 🙂

25. of August we have visited – again – Marijino brezno cave to see, what they have found and measured on previous visit. After a long time something new was discovered in otherwise long and branched cave.

Walking and walking and walking… and suddenly rope going up (climbed on last visit), we ascent and suddenly we are in new interesting tunnel. Co-caver is promising aragonite crystals and the end of newly discovered tunnel – and to be honest, I was a little disappointed when I saw them, I guess I was expecting too much larger formations from his “big” words 🙂 Well, I admit they are beautiful and we have not seen these in this cave before – this counts something also 🙂

And it was tough to take photo of – standing on one leg, back against stone wall, slippery,… Looking at the photos later on at home . disappointed again, I guess another we will need to do another visit. Just a little further from these crystals another interesting “formation” – all around the tunnel there is thick layer of clay and dirt, just on one small part something appears as if water would be running (during rainy weather) through and sweeping away clay and dirt – just like a small riverbed.

“Struga”

Parts of tunnel ground covered in dry dirt, little crystals in different forms on ceiling and some parts as if whole tunnel is made up of tiny sand and rubble which only a touch could collapse.

After short foto session in these parts we went back to the “before-known” parts of the cave.

Vhod / Izhod iz novega rova

No in ker nam še ni bilo dovolj smo še malo pregledali okrog in vtaknili nos v nešteto lukenj okrog nas… Kapnikiiii! 🙂

We still didn’t have enough, so we looked around and stuck our noses into all numerous holes and cracks… I saw a small passage at ground level, kneeled and peeked through… wauuu and yelling to my colleagues to come and see beautiful flowstone creations. I have never seen so many and sooo big ones in this cave – I even had no idea that those exist here. I squeezed myself through when colleague comes after me and asks if I really fitted through this tiny hole? I admit, if there were no flowstone creations on the other side, I would normally say, that my »little« wider figure just doesn’t fit through 🙂

Soon we have left these beautiful parts and came back to typical composition of this cave,… conglomerate and mud.
